Go to Bonfire Academy

Password Gating

Use passwords to gate audio, video, pages and drops.

Gating Audio

1. Navigate to https://www.bonfire.xyz/home

2. Go to the ‘Audio’ Tab

   

3. Click ‘Create Content’ and select audio. (work exactly the same for video)

   

4. Upload the audio and the artwork.

   

5. Click next.

6. Fill in the title and creator fields. These are optional.

   

7. Click ‘Next’

8. On the ‘Access’ section, select the ‘Password Protected’ option and choose a password.

   

9. Click ‘Next’

10. Click ‘Submit’

11. Congratulations, you now have an audio file that’s password protected. You can add this audio anywhere on your site and it will require visitors to know the password to be able to stream it.

Gating a page

1. Navigate to https://www.bonfire.xyz/home

2. Go to the ‘Site’ Tab

   

3. Click the page that you want to edit the access for.

   

4. On the right side panel that just appeared, scroll down to the access sections and click on the edit icon.

   

5. On the ‘Access’ section, select the ‘Password Protected’ option and choose a password.

   

6. Click ‘Save’

7. Congratulations, your page is now gated. Fan would need to know the password to have access.
